Looks like we got are arms full!!

Today we got the 3 peat outside and they seemed to like the fresh air. As soon as we brought them inside they all woke up. Oh well these pictures will have to do for now. Everybody is doing great and these boys just continue to grow. It is amazing and a miracle at the same time.

Finally got the nursery done!!

Well it is finally done and we think that it looks great. Special thanks to Nana and Bompa for donating 2 cribs, Danny at Fast Signs for help with the vinyl letters, Sherman Williams for the paint, Grandma Lucky, Becca and Steve and their mad paint skills and for all of the extra help with the shelves and picture frames. I wish there was a better picture of the bedspreads, bed skirts and drapes handmade by Nana and Becca. Countless hours have been spent in this little room and it sure shows all around. Come over for a tour anyday, we would love to show it off.

The 3peats first Dr appt.

They barely could even keep there eyes open for the picture, but momma made sure they all looked cute as we set off on our adventure going to the Doctor's office today. Let me tell you about the entourage it took to load all of the ninos into the burb and grab grandma and head off to St Marks Hospital. That was a feat in itself, but we managed and were able to arrive in one piece. The appointment went great and the chicos are putting on the pounds and just about back to their birth weight. Easton has a little more to go compared to his brothers. They checked all of their vitals and signed off on them and we were on our way back home. Going to the doctors sure worn them out today, so we will have to prepare them a little better for our next adventures outside Village Point Way next week.

Kenlee the big sister

Kenlee has really stepped up to her new role as the Big Sister. She loves to help us feed them and hold them. She enjoys taking care of her baby dolls too. She feeds them and puts them down for naps. It is precious to listen to her talk to her brothers. She can't wait to get them outside on the play set.

Daddy can't be left alone to watch the kids anymore!!!!

Well we have been doing so good today, until Daddy got left all alone to keep tabs on the kiddos and try to entertain Kenlee. Jen & Josh just left after bringing us lunch and helping us out with a few feedings. The 3peat is napping and Aubry has finally fallen asleep too. So Kenlee and I have been entertaining ourselves. NASCAR is on and I have been trying to keep everything updated and up on the laundry/dishes, and I should have know beforehand because Kenlee got really quiet and this is how I found her. Good thing I found her before she got to the walls. Good thing they are washable markers and already washed off her before mommy wakes up.

the 3peats first night at home

All the bros just hanging out, and making themselves right at home. Easton, Colton & Peyton in that order just in case you could not tell. To be honest with you I still have a hard time telling the difference between them until we take off their hats and see their hair.
By the way if anybody is interested in coming over to see them or to help with a feeding, please call Becca Leeper 801-554-3159 to schedule a time. The schedule we have them on is 5:00, 8:00 11:00a.m., 2:00, 5:00, 8:00, 10:30 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. depending. Call her she has it all figured out. We are so grateful for her and all she has done and continues to do for us. And we look forward to seeing everybody and getting to know these babies with you.

The special carseats we had to have to leave the hospital

What an amazing day we have had and the Hand of the Lord has shown itself again for our sweet little babies. The triplets passed all of the required tests to leave the hospital such as hold their own temperature, eat on their own (no I.V.'s) and show signs of gaining weight. Well after they had passed all three they told us that they had one more test and that was the car seat test. We were worried because the car seats we have are for 5-29 lbs and we knew that we were on the bubble. Well the results came back and they were not what we wanted. We scrambled and tried to find infant car seats for 0-20 lb babies and they are tough to find and an expense we did not want to have to incur, since the triplets would not be in them very long. We asked the hospital if they rented these little seats, they said no. The hospital has them to give out to low income family's and those on Medicaid, but we did not qualify for either of those. They said they were out of stock also and we began to worry we might not get these babies home for a few more days. But low and behold, this morning a nurse (Kathy) we had had a few days back found 3 brand new still in the boxes infant car beds in the storage closet that were not there the night before. She talked to the charge nurse and told her about our situation with the triplets and she is letting us borrow them until we do not need them any more. We were so excited and feel so fortunate and blessed for all of the wonderful experiences we have all ready had and we have only had them here a week.

We made it home today

Well we can't believe it either but we made it home today at about 4:300 p.m. Now the real work begins but we are looking forward to it.

Well Friday may be the lucky day?

Aubs snatched this cool picture of Colton and Easton as they shared a nursery cart together while Peyton was getting his vitals checked by the nurses. I don't know if they will all look this happy after tomorrow when they go in for the dirty deed or under the knife, however you want to say it. They are scheduled for their circumcisions in the morning, so have a little pity for them alright. Sept 12 2008 is the day Aubry is scheduled to return home and she is ready I believe, but we just hope and pray that the chicos can come home too all together, so we will just have to wait and see. The nurses are not saying anything about this info, so I will just have to keep everybody posted.

Kenlee loves her brothers!!!

Well at first it was pulling teeth, but it may be finally sinking in. Kenlee has really enjoyed going to the hospital and seeing her mommy and her little brothers. On Wednesday night I picked up Kenlee and told her that I would take her to Jungle Jim's Playground or to the the park for some one on one time and a daddy daughter date, but to my surprise she didn't want to go to any of those places, she wanted to go to the hospital and see the rest of her family. So we headed up there and it was an awesome experience, as she helped get the bottles ready for a feeding and did have a chance to hold a few of her brothers. Now we will just have to wait to see how it goes when we get home. We will see!!!

Great Grandmas and Great Grandpas coming to visit the triplets.

The baby stats and possible names

Everybody has been asking and I'm sorry for not giving the important data to everybody sooner.
Easton ? Burt was born at 7:59 a.m. on 9-8-08 weighed 4lbs 13 oz and was 18".
Colton ? Burt was born at 8:00 a.m. on 9-8-08 weighed 5lbs 5 oz and was 19.5".
Peyton ? Burt was born at 8:01 a.m. on 9-8-08 weighed 5lbs 3 oz and was 19".

We are still trying to figure out middle names and can't decide between naming them all with my middle name Jacob or maybe giving them all of their grandpas names (because we have three and three babies), if so it would most likely be Easton Kent, Peyton Arthur and Colton Robert. Doing it this way nicknames will be tougher, but the other way we could have some PJ's, CJ's and EJ's so who knows. Let us know what you think. Thanks

Aubry finally got to hold all 3 babies

Well it still continues to be a miracle around here in Room 204. This morning Peyton and Colton got there first promotions and graduated from the nursery and got turned over to our care in our room. It was awesome and the first time Aubry got to see them. We were still monitoring Easton as his blood sugars were increasing and finally he started to take some formula. It was a huge surprise at 2:30 this afternoon he got promoted also and made his way out of the nursery and into our room. What a joyful occasion as Mom finally got to hold all three of her sons on the outside of her belly for the very first time.

09-08-08 is the big day

It was a rough night sleeping and it felt like the night before Christmas or the night before you left for a long anticipated vacation. Aubry and I both tossed and turned and took turns sleeping. We set the alarm for 4:45 and it was just enough time to get ready and be to the hospital by 5:30 a.m. We got here in great time and it was nice to drive Foothill Dr with hardly any traffic. As we got here and checked in they monitored the babies for about an hour as they prepared us for the next few hours and first moments of our boys lives. At 7:30 a.m. they gave Aubry a Spinal block and with a team of Doctors, Nurses and Anesthesiologists (thanks to spell check) we headed for the O.R. and the greatest miracle of all time presented itself. Aubry was very calm throughout the procedure but by the look in her face you could tell she was nervous and anxious for what was going to happen over the next few minutes. The babies came one by one, first Baby A at 7:59 a.m., then Baby B at 8:00 and Baby C took his time and came at 8:01. It was amazing to see the team of skilled doctors and nurses instantly grab the babies and immediately start caring for them as they welcomed them into this world. It wasn't long and I had 1 baby in my arms and then 2. It was amazing to hold them both and it was truly a surreal experience. Then the third baby got handed to me and it set in, I had my hands full and we were embarking on the Wildest Ride of our lives, but it also was so incredible and a big piece and glimpse of heaven as i got to hold my boys for the very first time all together.
